Extended Menu

This is a Joomla/Mambo module that extends the functionality of the mainmenu module. In addition its code is completly redesigned which should make it easier to extend/modify.
Compatibility: Joomla 1.0.x, Joomla 1.5.x, Joomla 1.6.x, Joomla 1.7.x, Mambo 4.5.x

To use patTemplate in Joomla 1.6.x+ please extract the following archive to your libraries folder: pattemplate.zip (copied from Joomla 1.5)

This module extends the default mainmenu module in many ways. The following list should give you some ideas of what you can do with it:

• extended menu styles like "Flat List" which supports sub menu items (named "Tree List") or "Select List"
• customize the menu markup using parameters or your own menu template
• split your menu or reproduce parts of your menu (e.g., display children at another position)
• make links to sections, categories, content items magically appear
• add access keys to your menu items

What you will NOT get:

• user interface to style the menu (you will have to use CSS)
