This is a Joomla/Mambo module that extends the functionality of the mainmenu module. In addition its code is completly redesigned which should make it easier to extend/modify.
Compatibility: Joomla 1.0.x, Joomla 1.5.x, Mambo 4.5.x

This module extends the default mainmenu module in many ways. The following list should give you some ideas of what you can do with it:

  • extended menu styles like "Flat List" which supports sub menu items (named "Tree List") or "Select List"
  • customize the menu markup using parameters or your own menu template
  • split your menu or reproduce parts of your menu (e.g., display children at another position)
  • make links to sections, categories, content items magically appear
  • add access keys to your menu items

What you will NOT get:

  • user interface to style the menu (you will have to use CSS)
